- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- Butter, for spreading
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer a slice of cheese, two slices of bacon, several slices of avocado, another slice of cheese, and top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Grill the sandwich in the skillet, pressing down slightly with a spatula. Cook until the bread is golden and the cheese begins to melt, about 3-5 minutes on each side.
- Repeat for the second sandwich.
- Serve immediately, sliced in half.
