Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Add Bananas and Chocolate Chips: Fold in the mashed bananas and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool and Serve: Allow the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!
